June Swoon

It is the 9th of June and I have been in kind of a holding pattern for a couple of weeks. Not loosing any :-( but not gaining any either :-) Life has been pretty hectic and taken me out of my routine, with weddings and graduation parties and other things that go on that involve large quantitities of good food and good beer. I think one of the worst parts is that some of these have been out of town, which means eat-sit in the car for hours, repeat.

But I'm not discouraged. I have only been making the gym about 2 times per week, but still making progress. Last Tuesday I had a personal best on box squat of 340#. Worked out this morning, lots of energy felt good.

Shortstory, have you joined the gym yet? Ginger, how is it going? 10-8-ious, too busy being in love to write? I know, as I said above, this is a busy time of year.

Coming up, a push before July 4th to see if I can drop 15 more pounds.

    No, I haven't joined the gym yet and currently am debating the issue of a veggetarian diet or at least cutting back on the MEAT. Lately I have been concentrating on shedding excessive stress as opposed to weight. It seems to be working. I've lost 3 lbs of stress since the wedding.

    wow Microe - 15 lbs by the 4th of July! that's a lot in a little!

    I am also holding my own - flucuationg within the same 4 lb range. Not incouraged but not discouraged. Still hitting the gym about 3 times a week -- it keeps me focused on my goal although in terms of weight training, i know I'm letting it pass me by.

    Actually considering that I've taken on a much more social life and am not completely in control of my diet these days, I am doing pretty good.
