Fitness professionals' top-12 list (short story)

I ran across this list and wanted to share it with you.
The American Council on Exercise asked 36,000 fitness professionals what they considered to be the most important exercise items.

Their top-12 exercise essentials were:

2. Fun or appropriate music
3. Free weights
4. A positive attitude
5. Comfortable clothing
6. Lots of water
**(Microe, skip to #8)**
7. A supportive sports bra
8. Safe, well made equipment such as cardio machines
9. Weight training gloves
10. Enough time
11. A workout partner
12. Fresh, clean air and sunshine

Gloriagirl, I think that was in Seventeen magazine and was meant for skinny little 15 year olds. I wear them our if I'm walking regularily in about 3 months. Of course The Alpha Male is also no petite ballerina, nor would I want to be.

Oh man - I just had a flash image of of Microe in ballet slippers and a tutu. It was very strange!

I need to use me sneaker enough to wear them out! That should be my goal!

    # 2 on the list is a good one -- music. That's tough at a public place like a gym 'cause everybody likes something different. The worst is the damn TV they always have on. I know I need an IPOD, but I'm too cheep. Actually I would like to do a book on tape or something -- I spend 25 minutes on the tread mill or stir steper and if feels like SUCH a waste of time -- I really should be able to multi task with something worth while.
