A Holding Pattern- Part 2? Revisited? Still?

Well, let's see... Good news and bad news? I managed to be on the road for basically a full work week and did not gain weight. The hotels had good workout facilities- I finally stayed on an elliptical machine long enough to get the hang of it and break a sweat. That's good.

Since I've been open I've been practicing the all-too-familiar "it doesn't really count if I just sneak a bite" diet. My version of this is what I will call "hit and run"- I tear through the cupboards or fridge- find something that is likely not part of my "good" plan and eat some amount of it- usually from the box/bowl/jar. I then close everything up and zip back to my desk where I pretend that I did not just eat whatever it was. Ahh... this is obviously the bad news. Working on getting regrouped.

In my travelogue vernacular I will call this a lay over. Hopefully my next blog will be an actual PROGRESS report!
